I'm sufficiently motivated that I'm thinking about signing up for the July Challenge. Anybody here do the monthly challenges?

I know a few people around are in the June challenge. I'd been thinking about signing up for July, but then realised I'll be at a three day conference with at least one day where I'll have no guarantee at all of internet access. So I'm rethinking that plan...

I'm kinda doing the monthly challenge although I'm beginning to flag (mainly because I've set myself other challenges on top of writing the 750 words each day). I'm also away overnight Saturday so unless I get my words in early in the morning I may end up failing then..

I'm doing the June one--I've been on like a 55-day streak (& counting!) so I figured I was hopefully safe doing the June one... though I may be shooting myself in the foot just by imagining that. :/

Congrats on getting to the Flamingo! I got him a few days ago, and I think he's cute. :)

I signed up for the July challenge. I started too late in June to take that one though. :(

I'm currently doing the June challenge - still in the running too! I probably won't sign up next month unless I find something shiny I want to buy. I find using the monthly challenges with a "prize" at the end has two benefits: it encourages me to keep writing and it puts a month-long cooling off period on the prize item. I find I actually don't want the prize item I put down on my pledge for June anymore! Which is kind of ironic but an interesting thing to observe in myself.
