Keep On Keeping On

I totally forgot to post here when I got my Phoenix.

So I'm coming up on 150 and I'm not actually sure why I keep going. Because it's a habit now, maybe? I only really wanted the Phoenix badge so I could say I had it. Well, now I have it.

I considered intentionally missing a day once I got it and starting over, but somehow it just hasn't happened.

Why do you guys keep writing? What motivates you? Is it just inertia?

I'm motivated to keep going because once you hit 200 days, you get a pteradactyl. And i want one. *pines*

I don't think I really want a pterodactyl, but at the same time I'm kind of a completist, so I worry that if I break my streak, I might decide I want it later and have to start over. XD

Hee. I know how you feel. I actually did lose my first streak and had to work my way back up. On the one hand, it was sad, but on the other hand, it was kind of fun to work my way back up again.
